在 Serverless，雇员薪酬约占我们年度支出的 70%。我们必须非常准确地估计每个雇员的成本，这样我们才能知道我们的实际资金消耗率。但我们不能只简单地计算工资。

\n

对于初创公司而言，您必须为福利和税收等项目额外留出 20% 的预算。这是一种经验法则。当然，也有例外。在旧金山，对于年收入低于 8 万美元的雇员，此 20% 的法则比较适用。但该法则并没有考虑到，许多工资税在达到一定数额后会极高，而且家庭福利的成本远远高于个人福利。

因此，为了更好地跟踪薪酬成本，我制作了一个雇员总薪酬计算器！请尽管使用它。

在 Serverless，我们的大多数雇员都是高薪人士（软件行业的普遍现象）。当我应用 20% 的经验法则时，根据他们的福利选择，我发现估算值相差 20,000 美元之多。

我们是一家小而精的初创公司，每一分钱都要精打细算。因此，我决定创建自己的薪酬计算器，根据我们每位雇员的成本进行更准确的估算。

\n

我们与 Sequoia One 合作，一家专注于旧金山湾区和纽约技术公司的 PEO（专业性工作组织）。总而言之，我们的好处在于只需缴纳平均费率，而不是按年龄划分的费率，因此我们的保险成本对于每个雇员都是相同的，具体取决于他们所处的级别。

我们针对每个家庭每月支付 1,244 美元、针对员工和小孩每月支付 800 美元、针对员工和配偶每月支付 800 美元、针对员工每月支付 600 美元。这种支付方式与按年龄划分的福利不同，前者更易于估算雇员的年度福利成本，而后者会因雇员的年龄和地点而变化。\n税金

社会保障税 - 雇主缴付雇员工资（最多 128,400 美元）的 6.2%

医疗保险税 - 雇主缴付雇员工资（无限制）的 1.45%

\n

对于接下来三种税的计算方式，我有些困惑，因此我查询了去年我们为每个雇员支付的费用，并将最高税额用作默认值。

联邦失业税法 (FUTA) - 按我们当前的工资计算，假设年最高税额为 42 美元

\n

CA SUI - 按我们当前的工资计算，假设年最高税额为 315 美元

\n

CA ETT - 按我们当前的工资计算，假设年最高税额为 7 美元\n人力资源信息系统

\n

我们最初使用 Gusto 作为我们的工资和福利提供商，并且非常中意。但后来我们开始在全美范围内招聘，我们发现，要想向雇员提供高质量覆盖，他们提供福利的成本对于我们而言简直太高了。

我们最近换用 Sequoia One，成本为每位雇员每月 110 美元。

401K 行政管理

\n

我们使用 Guideline 来管理我们的 401K 计划。我们的团队对他们提供的低收费模式感到非常满意。我们目前不提供搭配缴款，管理该计划的费用为每位雇员每月 8 美元。

\n

我们为旧金山的雇员提供午餐和零食。成本为每位雇员每年大约 3,000 美元。
